Population: 134


It is located in the North of "Extremadura" and on the west of the region" Las Hurdes", between 40°18´ latitude north and 6°28´ latitude west and 460 m. above the sea-level.


The access is quite easy by the road Ex- 204 in both directions, coming from "Coria" as well from "Salamanca". Once you arrive to "Pinofranqueado" take the direction "Robledo" and then the deviation to the village.


Because of the rests found in the old part of the village, Erias was sure a quite old pre- roman assent.

There are also some engravings also in the old part of the village which corroborate this idea.

What to visit


We recommend to visit the old part of the town, where the visitor can see some typical old houses. The surroundings are also to recommend because of the beauty of the nature and the different colours of the flora.

The visitor can get more information about the activities in the village in the Centre of Documentation in "Pinofranqueado".
