Location
The town is located in the North of the province "Caceres" and" Las Hurdes" limiting with the province "Salamanca".
It is located between 40°27´North latitude and 2°33´longitude East and 698 m. above the see-level.
Access
We can access by the road Ex-204 in two points.
One using the deviation of "Vegas de Coria" direction "Nuñomoral" and "Casares de Hurdes" ( Ex-368) or also using the deviation before coming to "Riomalo de Abajo" direction "Ladrillar", road Ex- 366.
The town is in the present the "capital" of the region.
The population of other near towns call the people of "Ladrillar" with the nick- name "Veleguines", what means nervous person, always in movement.
The name of the town in the past was "El Adrial".
During a lot of time the town was dependant on the town "Nuñomoral".
Places
We recommend to visit its small church, as well as the old part of the town, where we can see some typical old houses in well state of conservation.
The visitant can also walk along the fields in the surroundings and enjoy of the nature and its colours.
Free time
The House of the Culture organise some activities for the free time. The visitant can also wander.
The visitor can have some drinks in the pubs in town.
There are no more artisans in the town, although the situation was completely different in the past with different works in osier and in wood from the olive trees.
Nowadays we can only find artisan work for the private use in town.

The visitor can enjoy the visit to the bath-zone near the river "Rio Ladrillar" with some natural swimming pools.
