It is located in the North of "Extremadura" in the region of" Las Hurdes" between 40°24´latitude north and 6°24´longitude west and 640 m. above the see-level.


We can access by the road Ex-204 from both directions, coming from "Coria" or from "Salamanca".

Once arriving to "Vegas de Coria" take the direction "Nuñomoral" and then the direction "La Fragosa" after going through "Cerezal".


In the past it was very common that the founder of a town gives his name to the village.

The name "Martilandrán" comes then from its founder "Martin Andrán".

What to visit


We recommend the traveller to visit the old part of the town with its buildings following the typical architecture and in a good state of conservation. The nature surrounding the town is also recommendable.

Free time

The House of the Culture organise some activities for the free time. The visitant can also wander.

The traveller can have some drinks in the pubs in Nuñomoral town.
