Go from "Casares de Hurdes" in direction towards "Maja Robledo" until reaching a crossing. Then leave a little lake to your right, taking the way leading to an old water-deposit. Cross the stream and then take the way sloping up in many curves to the top "Salombrero". On the other side use the fire- break to the left of the spring of the river Malvellido to descend. Follow the stream, cross it two times, and reach a tiny path used by shepherds, which will lead you to a little bridge. From there it is only about one more kilometre to the Caserío del Gasco.
